Motorcycle Top End
Top-end work is critical to engine performance and reliability—if you’re not measuring, you’re guessing.
At KT Cycles, cylinder heads are treated the way they should be: precise measuring, accurate valve seat concentricity to the guide, proper surfacing, and correct spring setup. Seat geometry, valve placement, and installed heights are all set with purpose—because every change has a direct effect on how the engine performs.
We perform precision valve work using multi-angle and radius seat profiles depending on the application, focusing on airflow, sealing, and long-term durability—not just cutting seats and calling it done.
Cylinder work is held to the same standard. It’s not just about hitting a size—it’s about the finish and function. Proper bore sizing, correct RA finish for ring compatibility, consistent crosshatch, and heat control all play a role in ring seal, oil control, and longevity.
We don’t just replace parts for the sake of it. When possible, we repair and reuse quality components, often resulting in a better overall product while saving you money. Knowing what can be reused—and what shouldn’t be—is part of doing the job right.
Every top end is built with intention and precision—because that’s where real performance and reliability come from.
